A Range Day is simply a day at the range. The private range at Black Star Canyon will be opened to 15 people from 8 am to Noon. Participants must be Safety First Firearms Academy Alumni who have completed one of the NRA Basic Courses. Students may only shoot the firearm for which they have taken a course. For example, if you have taken the NRA Basic Pistol Course, you may shoot your pistols and handguns. If you have taken the NRA Basic Pistol Course and the NRA Basic Rifle Course but have not taken the NRA Basic Shotgun Course, you may shoot the pistols and rifles but not shotgun.
Participants will receive live-fire coaching if requested. An instructor will be available all four hours. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants. Water will be provided. Please bring your own firearms, targets, ammunition and supplies.
